Budapest International Airport (Budapest Ferihegy) is located south east of the center, about 15km from the city center. Transport from the airport to the city center is possible by:

By Train
Budapest is an important rail junction and can be reached by direct trains from many major European cities. The main railway station is situated in the city center and can easily be reached by public transportation. (Metro 2/ red line)

By Road
Budapest can be reached by all European cities by highways M1 and M7. Referring to the high traffic within the city center the congress organisers strongly recommend NOT to travel by car to Budapest as you will surely face traffic jams as well as a lack of parking spots.
Further a ticket for Public Transportation (metro, bus, tram) within Budapest during the congress will be included in the registration fees for Members, Non-Members, Residents and Students.

MONDIAL CONGRESS & EVENTS has secured a sufficient number of hotel rooms in 5*, 4*, 3* hotels at competitive rates. Please note that May is absolute peak season in Budapest and therefore early hotel booking is highly recommended!

DEADLINE FOR HOTEL BOOKING
Deadline for hotel bookings is February 15, 2008.
After this deadline, reservations will still be handled. However, MONDIAL CONGRESS & EVENTS can not
guarantee hotel accommodation after this date.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note that hotel bookings can only be accepted and confirmed upon receipt of the completed registration form (may be land-mailed, faxed or filled in via the site www.eurotrauma2008.org) and information on receipt of the deposit payment required per room – For payments, please refer to "TERMS OF PAYMENT".
As soon as the Organising Secretariat has received your payment, a letter of confirmation will be mailed to
you. It will confirm the name of your hotel, the room rate per night and the duration of your stay.
Confirmations will be e-mailed if an e-mail address is provided on the registration form. This option is
highly recommended as it helps avoiding time consuming correspondence. Otherwise, confirmations will be
faxed or land-mailed.
If the hotel category requested is no longer available, MONDIAL CONGRESS & EVENTS will do its utmost to
offer similar accommodation. This may, however, involve a change in price category. The number of nights
booked is binding and will serve as the basis for your hotel invoice. Please note that, in case of early
departure, the hotel is entitled to charge all nights booked. The balance between the deposit and your
total invoice must be settled directly with the hotel.
For cancellations received by February 15, 2008, an administrative fee of EUR 35.– will be charged.
For cancellations received after February 15, 2008, deposit payments shall be forfeited. Only written
cancellations may be accepted.
Amounts due will be reimbursed after the Congress
